Bookings will begin at 1200 hours on Wednesday through booking offices, the Air India website, authorized travel agents, and booking offices, according to India’s national carrier, who shared this information via Twitter. As previously reported, effective November 1, the Australian state of New South Wales will open its borders to foreign travellers without quarantine, marking the full restoration of overseas travel after more than 19 months. According to reports, the flights will run until at least late March 2022, and if there is enough demand, they will be extended.
Both airlines will be able to resume flights between India and Australia as a result of the action, which will benefit tourists because India will begin issuing tourist visas to international visitors on November 15. In addition, all visitors arriving in Australia will be subjected to a 14-day quarantine, as per amended travel instructions released on October 26. Furthermore, tourist access into Australia is currently regulated, with only select/allowing groups or those granted particular exemptions permitted.
