As per box office India, “Antim – The Final Truth had a so so first day of 4.50 crore net, if it can grow well then it will be a decent first-day number. Filmfare and the Times of India have given a rating of 3 out 5 stars to the movie, whereas, critic expert Anupama Chopra said, “Antim works as long as the film hacks closely to Mulshi Pattern. Like Vijay in Deewar, Rahul discovers that ultimately crime doesn’t pay. Just like Vijay’s mother represents goodness in that film, Rahul’s family represents ethics in this one. The scenes in which he tries to chase them over with his money and power are moving.”
The idea of the film is based on a Marathi movie ‘Mulshi Pattern’, which gives Ayush Sharma a chance to change his lover-boy image, created in ‘Loveyatri’ (2018). And gives Salman Khan fans a chance to reunite with him. Box office india.com report opined, “Antim The Final Truth will show an upward trend on Saturday as it does business in the 5.25- 5.50 crores net range.” The movie show Ayush Sharma’s transformation in a well-sculpted physique and it’s evident that he has worked hard to get into the role of this ruthless and deadly goon. The character shows shades as, at one point he triggers anger in you, and at the same time, evokes empathy too.
