Indian National Congress (INC) has announced the launch of a massive agitation program, which is named ‘Jan Jagran Abhiyan’. This program will go on from the 14th of November to the 20th of November. This program has been launched against inflation and high rising prices which is eventually leading to the destruction of livelihood and also is a bigger frame it is destroying the economy of the country. Party also said that the continuous inflation is also contributing to deepening recession, peaking unemployment rate which is eventually leading the people to poverty and hunger.

Data regarding unemployment also shows that the unemployment rate is at its ever high of 9%. Congress claimed that the UPA government pulled 27 crore Indians out of poverty during their tenure but they alleged the BJP government threw back 23 crore Indians again into poverty. Party said that 14 crore jobs were lost during the period of pandemic and many workers which are working in unorganized sectors faced cuts in wages up to 50%.
So, the Jan Jagran Abhiyan is aimed to respond to ailing masses and raise voices against their ailments. Party says it will try to reach the maximum number of people across the country and maximize their voices against the high raised fuel prices, CNG prices, and other essential commodities. Congress is going to organize a training campaign and will also launch a social media campaign regarding the program on November 12. A toll-free number will be released for people to easily connect. The campaign logo is awaited to be released along with which pamphlets will be released regarding the facts about price rise and related issues.
