The most interesting thing about politics is that there’s always something going on. Especially, when the elections are near, the turbulence in the world of politics increases even more. While we have seen two arch-enemies getting together for their political benefit, we have also seen families getting divided. One such family used to be the founders of SP, one of the biggest players in UP’s political spectrum. However, the feud within the family members has ended and it seems that they have united while the elections are just around the corner. Recently, SP-head and former Chief Minister of UP, Akhilesh Yadav, and Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia (PSPL) founder Shivpal Yadav met and discussed their coalition for the upcoming Up elections. As per close sources, Shivpal Yadav’s son Aditya Yadav was also present in the meeting.

It seems like the 5-year-old differences in the family have been solved. The reason behind the differences in the family was Akhilesh Yadav’s taking over SP in 2016 which side-lined his uncle Shivpal. Due to this, Shivpal decided to form his party, PSPL. However, he failed to leave any mark in the 2017 UP election and the 2019 Lok Sabha election. It will be interesting to see how the seat distribution turns out to be. However, Akhilesh Yadav has also said that his uncle would get due respect upon the coalition. It is also being speculated that Shivpal Yadav may leave his usually contested seat of Jaswant Nagar for his son Aditya, while he will be contesting the elections from some other seat.
