Himanshi Khurana is an Indian model, singer and actress who primarily works in Punjabi-language music videos and films. She started her career in modelling at the young age of 16. Himanshi won “Miss Ludhiana” in 2009 and participated in many more modelling competitions, including Miss North Zone and Miss PTC Punjabi in 2010. She made her acting debut in the 2013 Punjabi movie Sadda Haq, which was a super hit. She is also a contestant in the 13th season of Big Boss.

Himanshi Khurana was born on 27 November 1991 in Kiratpur Sahib, Punjab. She considers her mother, Suneet Kaur, as a powerful motivation in her life. She completed her secondary education at BCM Senior Secondary School in Ludhiana. In fact, she was a medical student in high school. Himanshi’s father wanted her to study medical sciences and become a nurse, but she always dreamed of becoming a model.
When Himanshi was in 11th standard, one of her cousins clicked her pictures and observed that she is very photogenic. Her cousin saw the potential in Himanshi and encouraged her to try modelling. Consequently, she participated and won the Miss Ludhiana Competition in 2009. She then came to Delhi and started doing photoshoots for several brands. During her time in Delhi, she made her first music video appearance in Kuldeep Manak’s “Jodi”.

Later, in 2012 Himanshi got the opportunity to be in the music video for “Izhaar” by Harjot and “Fasli Bateray” by Feroz Khan. However, she gained popularity after featuring in Hardy Sandhu’s music video for “Soch”. 2015 was a very successful year for Himanshi as she worked with many big stars, such as Badshah, Jassi Gill, Mankirat Aulakh, Sukh-E (Musical Doctorz), J Star and Ninja.
Himanshi made her debut in the Punjabi industry with the movie “Sadda Haq” by Mandeep Benipal. Although, her first Bollywood movie was “Jeet Lengey Jahaan” in 2012. Later in 2015, she got a lead role in the Punjabi movie “Leather Life” (with Aman Dhaliwal as male lead). Additionally, she has done six South Indian movies – 2 Tamil, 1 Malayalam, 2 Kannada and 1 Telugu.
