The release of the highly foreseen period movie RRR featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan is around the corner and the producers are endorsing the movie with all they got. Directed by popular filmmaker SS Rajamouli, the movie also has Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt portraying climactic characters. On December 19, the producers of the movie hosted an enormous promotional event in Mumbai which was supported by the cast of the film Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, director Rajamouli, and producer Karan Johar. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also accompanied the event to broaden his support to the crew. Many enthusiasts from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were also attending the event. Huge cut-outs of Telugu stars had been constructed at the event. Moreover, Jr NTR fans arranged to crash through the barricades at the event. The buffs were yelling, “We love you NTR.” After which, Rajamouli had to step in to regulate the public and plead with them to chill out in Telugu.
RRR is a fictitious story based on the existence of two Indian freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who battled against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad. The movie also has actors like Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran, Ray Stevenson, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and others. The movie has been approved by the Censor Board with a U/A certificate. The music of the movie has been written by MM Keeravani. Cinematography is performed by KK Senthil Kumar and Sreekar Prasad is editing the movie. RRR is developed by DVV Danayya of DVV Entertainments and is ultimately set to hit the screens on January 7, 2022. Jayanti Lal Gada of PEN Studios has got the theatrical distribution rights across North India and has also acquired worldwide electronic rights for all languages. Pen Marudhar will be allocating the movie in the North Territory.
