Early life
Triggered Insaan was born in Delhi on 14 November 1995 in a Hindu orthodox family. As of 2021, he is 26 years old. His mother’s name is Dimple Malhan who is a housewife and has her own youtube food vlogging channel named Dimple’s Kitchen, his father’s name is Vinay Malham and is a businessman in Delhi. He has a younger brother and an elder sister, their names are Abhishek Malhan and Prerna Malhan respectively. Playing video games since childhood has always intrigued him. He completed his schooling at a private school in New Delhi. He was a bright kid at school and got more than 80 per cent in both the 10th and 12th board exams.
After completing his 10th standard he got so addicted to online gaming and staying at home and doing nothing that he went into depression for two years but still managed to get good results in the exams. But the depression was still there and he credits his mom and college roommates to help him in getting out of that phase. He gave several competitive exams for engineering that includes JEE Mains, JEE Advance, Bits Pilani etc. After completion of his schooling, he got the opportunity in IIT-Delhi to pursue his engineering degree in Electronics and Communication. After that, he got a job and started working but it didn’t work out for him as he got fed up with the job and quit it.
Initial Youtube Career
After quitting his first job he started making and posting short videos on YouTube. He posted his first-ever YouTube video on June 25, 2017. He kept this fact hidden from his parents, after some time his videos blew up and got viral. Eventually, he told his parents that he wanted to be a YouTuber. He named his first youtube channel “Yes Yes Bhai” then ” It Nischay” and finally changed it to Triggered Insaan. The name was inspired by his father, who always gets easily angry at him.
His biggest break happened when he roasted famous personalities like Amir Khan, Sunny Deol, Dhinchak pooja and Narendra Modi. His video titled Indian Ads Is So Stupid, at that time was the most viewed video. Later he started roasting several other contents like Pakistani videos, Tiktok, Indian pranks, Vigo videos etc. People started liking his roasting style and his honest and funny reactions to other videos. This was the main reason for his YouTube success. He gained over 100k subscribers in a year, his channel crossed the milestone of 1 million subscribers on YouTube in February 2019.
