Rajkumar Rao and Patralekha have been dating for 11 years and have finally tied the knot in Chandigarh. The lavish wedding was attended by their closest friends and family members. Some celebrities like Farah Khan, Huma Qureshi, and her brother Saquib Saleem were also present for the ceremony. Rajkummar Rao expressed his joy by sharing snaps of the wedding ceremony on his Instagram handle and penned down a lengthy note expressing his joy and gratitude.
As soon as he shared photos from their ceremony many Bollywood celebrities congratulated them. Celebrities like Priyanka Jonas, Sanya Malhotra, Tapsee Pannu, Siddharth Malhotra, and Anil Kapoor commented on the post wishing them a happy life and showing their excitement. Sanya Malhotra who is set to star opposite the Citylights actor commented,” Congratulations you two kitne Sundar”, Priyanka commented,” I’m not crying you are! Congratulations”, Tapsee Pannu exhibited her excitement by posting that they both are made for each other, Aparshakti Khurana apologizes for not attending the wedding whereas Anil Kapoor looks forward to meeting them once they return to Mumbai. All the festivities took place at the Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in New Chandigarh. For the wedding ceremony, Rajkummar Rao chose a traditional off-white sherwani paired with a pink dupatta whereas Patralekha opted for a red lehenga with gold detailing which she paired with a dupatta that had Bengali words embroidered on it. The Bengali words when translated said,’ I pledge all my love to you. The ceremonies had begun on October 13 with a white-themed engagement where the actor is seen going down on one knee and proposing to Patralekha. The couple then danced to Ed Sheeran’s Perfect song. The wedding seemed intimate and full of fun and laughter.
