The country’s first open-air roof-top theatre, which will open on November 5 at Reliance Retail’s premium shopping mall Jio World Drive in Mumbai, will be open to the public, Reliance Retail announced on Monday. According to Reliance, Jio Drive-in, which is operated by PVR, has a capacity of 290 cars and has the city’s largest cinema screen, which is geared to provide audiences with an unrivalled cinematic experience.
A drive-in theatre, sometimes known as a drive-in cinema, is a type of cinema that includes a big outdoor movie screen, a projection booth, a snack stand, and a huge parking lot for cars. Reliance has teamed with famous culinary specialists such as chef and restaurateur Ritu Dalmia for an Italian restaurant and Motodo Aditi Dugar for a pet-friendly café to create JWD’s food and beverage concepts.
