Krithi Shetty is an Indian actress, influencer and model hailing from Mangalore, Karnataka who mostly appears in Telugu movies. She is also known for portraying the role of the character ‘Sangeetha’ in the film Uppena.
Early Life
She was born on 21 September 2003 in a Tulu speaking family. Her father’s name is Krishna Shetty and her mother’s name is Neethi Shetty. She was raised in Mumbai and completed her schooling there. She is currently pursuing psychology from an open university. The actress wanted to be a doctor despite having interest in acting. While appearing in various commercials she got the opportunity to play the lead role in the movie, Uppena.
Shetty also trained in the Bharatnatyam form of classical dance. She has also shown her dancing skills in the video for the song ‘Eswara’ from her debut movie, Uppena. The video has gained a lot of popularity and currently has 4.2 million views on YouTube.

Krithi Shetty started her career at an early age by modelling and appearing in various commercial advertisements like Shoppers stop, Lifebuoy, Cadbury silk, Yippee, Vivel soap. She also starred in a theatre play called “Preethi”. She has not received any formal training in acting. As a child artist, she made her Hindi cinematic debut with the style icon, Hrithik Roshan in the movie, Super 30 in the year 2019. Shetty made her big debut in Telugu movies with Chiranjeevi’s nephew, Panja Vaisshnav Tej in the film, Uppena. Uppena released on 12 February 2021. The film was a hit in India. She is also slated to appear as the female lead in the upcoming movie, Shyam Singha Roy starring the popular star Nani. The film is going to be directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The other upcoming movie of hers is Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali also featuring Sudheer Babu.
