India has allowed citizens from 99 countries to travel to India. It has been 20 months since the constraints were imposed on people travelling to India. The only prerequisite the government asks for is that the people monitor their health and take care of themselves for 14 days after landing in India. They have removed the requirement of the 14-day quarantine that was previously imposed. Some of the countries from which travel restrictions are dropped include the United Kingdom, Greece, Australia, Canada, the United States of America, Russia and Sri Lanka. Fully vaccinated tourists are permitted to enter the country for the first time since the lockdown was declared openly in March 2020. Numerous people are enraptured with this decision as they have a chance to meet their families after 20 months.
