If you are into magic, then you must have heard about the name DMC. Rather than an illusionist and an escape artist, DMC also holds a special place for India in his heart. Best known for his stint with national Geographic in 2013 and 2015, and then his Netflix-special ‘Death by Magic’ in 2018, he recently sat for an interview where he talked about a myriad of things ranging from his family background to his love for India and meeting Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan.
Talking about his meeting with the Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, he said that he was invited to perform for celebrities. Among the attendees were Shah Rukh Khan himself along with Amitabh Bachchan. Talking about the latter one, DMC said that he was very observant of his magic tricks and even asked questions regarding his art form. DMC said that he also got a chance to briefly meet Shah Rukh Khan who he described as a very warm person.

Apart from his interactions with celebrities and stars, he was asked questions on a wide range of topics. When asked about his famous and eye-catching tattoo above his ear, he said that it read Hausla, Pyaar, Vishwas (Courage, Love, Trust). Talking about his experience shooting his Netflix special, he recounted many accidents while shooting and several incidents where he had gotten badly injured. He also said that he has been to many places in India like Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. However, it is the vibrant and colorful culture of Udaipur that attracts him the most.
