According to the updates, the National Health Task Force, Bahrain, has announced certain relaxations for passengers travelling to Bahrain. Those are:
- Passengers who have completed their vaccination (2 doses) and it has been 14 days (2 weeks) since their last dose are the ones who will be considered as “fully vaccinated”.
- As per the guidelines, the passengers who are fully vaccinated need not carry a negative RT PCR report with them.
- They also need not show proof of accommodation/residence for flying to Bahrain.
- The passengers in GCC countries are only asked to show the certificate of vaccination in hand or through an official mobile app of GCC.
- The passengers who have completed their course of vaccination will need to verify themselves through the official application viz. be aware App.
- Notably, passengers who will be shown a ‘GREEN SHIELD’ on the BeAware app will only be allowed not to show negative RT PCR report or accommodation proof. But if the app shows a ‘YELLOW SHIELD’, then both, negative RT PCR and proof of accommodation will be required before boarding.
- Also, the passengers who are holding a Residence Permit of Bahrain and are also fully vaccinated will also have an option to upload their certificate of vaccination (India) on the BeAware App, and then get the certificate from the Ministry of Health (Bahrain) and from there they can obtain a ‘GREEN SHIELD’ on the official application.
