The Filter Koffee podcast is not an interview in the traditional sense. Essentially, it’s a window into the minds of some of the most interesting people the host has met – a glimpse into their trade, interests, and convictions, among other things. We are speaking of an excellent conversation – the kind that broadens your perspective from where you were 40 minutes before. And, like with coffee itself, the components contribute to the overall experience.
The Filter Koffee Podcast is all about bringing those experiences to you every week with hand-picked guests who are some of the most interesting people you’ll ever meet in India. They chat about their lives, their bodies of work, their convictions, their inspirations, and the stories they have to tell about their experiences.
The creative, activist, business leader, and the occasional neighbor, Karthik Nagarajan, cryptographer turned researcher turned screenwriter turned marketer, sits down for an unstructured talk with other creators, activists, business leaders, and the occasional neighbor.
Current entrepreneurs frequently pose questions such as, “How can I conquer time and capitalize on opportunities?” and “How do I capitalize on opportunities?” When it comes to becoming an entrepreneur, effective communication may be extremely beneficial. ‘How do you choose the best co-founder for your company?’ you might wonder. Our chat with Ronnie Screwvala, an Indian media pioneer and first-generation entrepreneur, is featured in this episode. Ronnie is one of the most well-known figures in the fields of business and entertainment. He tells us about his entrepreneurial foresight, why he prefers working with undeveloped talent, and how he went about recording his audiobook in his own voice for the first time.
When asked about the Indian EdTech market and why investments are continuing to increase, Ronnie provides the following reply. The industry is in desperate need of huge disruption, which is why so many people see changes in this field. A herd mentality emerges whenever there is a disproportionate quantity of investor interest, as well as an easy and large amount of money flowing in, which is partly motivated by FOMO. Having said that, this will not be a market in which one person wins everything. Education and learning are not parts of life that improve simply because money is invested in them. However, some outstanding entrepreneurs, technologies, and platforms will emerge from the industry, which will aid working professionals and their careers to the advantage of many millions of people worldwide.
