Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced that 96 countries around the world have agreed to reciprocal recognition of India’s COVID-19 immunization certificates. The Health Minister announced on Tuesday that those travelling to and from these countries will be given specific concessions. “96 nations have decided to mutually recognize India’s vaccination certificates,” Mansukh Mandaviya said, reflecting global acknowledgement of India’s vaccines and immunization procedure. He went on to say that 96 nations have consented to accept Indian vaccination certificates for travellers who have been completely vaccinated with Covishield and other WHO-approved and nationally-approved vaccines. The Union government, according to the Health Minister, is continuing to communicate with the rest of the globe in order for beneficiaries of the world’s largest Covid vaccination program to be accepted and recognized, making travel for education, business, and tourism easier.
