With the addition of two more IPL clubs in 2022, the IPL will become a 10-team league. Before this, the IPL added Pune Warriors India and Kochi Tuskers Kerala for the 2011 season. Kochi Tuskers Kerala was a one-season league that began in 2011 and ended the following year. Pune Warriors India, on the other hand, withdrew from the IPL in May 2013.
