Pratapsingh Rane hints at retirement from active politics. The veteran congress leader of Goa Mr. Rane cites a hint of taking permanent farewell from politics. The man is known to be the backbone of goa congress and had had a record of winning 11 the major election as an MLA. The sources said that the aged Rane is no more eager to participate in any competitive politics. The high command was making reluctant Rane fill his candidature.
