The unfortunate incident happened in a reality show where two comedians Kiku Sharda and Gaurav Gera, made fun of the height of Neha Kakkar. The comedians played different characters in their show. They addressed the short height of Neha Kakkar as ‘Chotu.’ They named the character as ‘Neha Shakkar’ who was clicking selfies with her phone. Although it was a joke, body shaming someone due to their color, height, weight in the name of entertainment is unacceptable in today’s world. They even mocked Neha Kakkar’s singing and her talent, saying that the singer sings ‘Kuch bhi’, meaning anything. It didn’t take long for the video to go viral all over the internet.
Taking it to the Social Media
When Neha Kakkar saw this, she was hurt, and took to social media to express her pain. She responded by saying that it’s a shame that the creators had made such negative content.

When the comedians made insensitive remarks about Neha Kakkar’s height, she shared stories on her Instagram handle complaining about the video. Although the production house removed the video soon after the incident, her brother took to social media to slam the comedians. He wrote on his Instagram handle, “Will you ever stop making fun of what God has made us?” Tony Kakkar’s Instagram gained the support of Neha Kakkar’s and Tony’s fans. Speaking to her brother, the 32, years old musician said on a live Instagram feed that the lockdown had taught her many things about her life. She also said that she had come to appreciate what God had given her. In her Insta feed, she said, “You need to convince yourself that you are the most beautiful person. So, what I have is a short height. I know that I am the most beautiful person.
