Sunil Grover who is an actor and comedian underwent heart surgery at Mumbai’s Asian Heart Institute. The surgery was successful and the comedian was successfully discharged on Thursday. The media inquired the hospital authorities about the condition of Sunil Grover. The 44-year-old actor and comedian were taken to hospital on January 8. Besides the heart condition, Covid was also detected. A few days later the doctors conducted an angiography which showed three blocked arteries due to which the actor had to undergo four bypass surgeries, a news agency reported. A note from the hospital revealed that the comedian was discharged today which is a week after the surgery and had an “uneventful postoperative recovery” On January 8, Sunil was admitted to the hospital after he was feeling irregular chest pains. The Asian Heart Institute doctors stabilized him and carried out the angiogram.
Dr. Ramakanta Panda mentioned in a statement, “Since he has received all arterial grafts using internal mammary arteries his long term results should be good and will be able to lead a normal life in the long term with proper care which should include proper diet, exercise, yoga, and medicine. He is a positive person with a bright outlook on life. ” A news agency also reported on Wednesday that the actor was on the path to recovery as a source mentioned that the heart surgery went well and he’ll be discharged soon. And as of today, Sunil Grover was discharged.
