Few nations have implemented border control measures as a result of the newly discovered coronavirus strain. Nations are establishing travel bans to combat the spread of the Omicron variety just as many were reopening to foreign travel. Australia
South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Malawi, and Mozambique are among the countries that are not permitted to visit Australia. Non-Australian citizens, permanent residents, or direct family members are not permitted entrance.
Israel
Since the breakout of the new variety, Israel has been one of the first countries to block its borders to travel. The prohibition will be in effect for 14 days, or until a new update is released.
China
China already has strict border restrictions in place. Citizens and residents with residence permits are only permitted to enter the nation.

United States of America
South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, and Malawi have all been barred from entering the United States. American citizens and permanent residents can continue to travel from the nations listed above. However, a negative test is required prior to admission.
Japan
Japan was ready to seal its doors to foreign visitors. Business travelers, students, and other foreigners are not permitted to enter the nation. This is a temporary measure implemented by the government.
Auckland, New Zealand
Foreigners from nine countries, including South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Seychelles, Malawi, and Mozambique, have been forbidden from entering New Zealand. The ban has been in force since November 28th.
Other countries such as Italy, Morocco, Canada have also imposed travel bans.
