The CUCHD Blackboard system is the answer to every challenge the pandemic has put to the world of education. With the pandemic upon us, the students of the country and the world have suffered the most. While offices and manufacturing shut down, so did schools, colleges and even universities. It was only about productivity and profits with offices. But with schools and colleges, there was this risk of an entire generation not getting the optimum educational experience. But now, some universities are coming up with solutions to not be in the lurch. Chandigarh University has now signed up with the Blackboard System. This system allows for education to continue online, even if the lockdown shows no signs of letting up.
What is the CUCHD Blackboard System?
The Blackboard System is a unique Learning Management System. It has an interface similar to any project management system. With this, universities will provide a seamless experience to the students who have enrolled in their courses.
When a student signs up with Blackboard, they can access a Dashboard, which shows them the courses available. The dashboard has a list of online classes, along with the time and date they will begin streaming. In addition, there’s a calendar functionality, so students can set up what they are going to do next. The best part about the Blackboard system is the timeline one, through which students can interact with each other.
How to Use the CUCHD Blackboard System?
The Blackboard app and software is an integrated one. So students will get notifications of any activity that happens on their account on their mobile devices. So, it becomes easier for students and parents to know when a particular class will be going on. Another significant aspect of the product is that the course content is available instantly once the said class is over, making it easier for the student to revise lessons.
It is pretty easy to use the CUCHD Blackboard system. Once the student gets the password to their courseware by registering with an e-mail, they can browse through a familiar UI, which we see in most of the apps.
On the left is the binder UI, which lists the courses, upcoming assignments and classes, the calendar, and the Gradebook, so the students have a quick referral to their education journey. Finally, the main window, the dashboard, is a window that keeps the students informed about events like any messages that anyone has sent them and also about upcoming events.
Students who have experience using mobile apps will not face any issues while using this app. The only visible difference between the CUCHD Blackboard System and any other mobile app is that the student will be provided with an account by the college authorities.
Conclusion
The CUCHD is a positive step that the authorities have taken towards keeping learning sustainable and achievable throughout the Covid situation. But, of course, software like Blackboard will remain relevant long after the pandemic is over, as it allows students from all over the world to learn and collaborate quickly and in a hassle-free manner.
