New Delhi, our very own capital of India has been ranked third in the whole world. Why? A worldwide study conducted by a luggage storage firm, Bounce, including 69 capital cities across the world acknowledged New Delhi as the third best place in the world to go for a holiday. The capital city of India is in the third position with 6.06 points out of 10 after Valletta, the capital of Malta with 6.74 out of 10 on the first spot, and Abu Dhabi, the capital city of U.A.E with 6.24 points.
The worldwide study was based on factors like tourist attractions, cost of transport, restaurants, weather conditions, and cost of the hotel among others. These factors were estimated to judge which capital city would be the most comfortable and suitable for a vacation. India is one of the top ten countries in the world for climate technology investment
But, what is so special in New Delhi? The cost of a hotel in New Delhi for a night is USD 101.87 which is around USD 35 less than average cities across the world. The study also reported that New Delhi has 291 restaurants per square kilometre, the second-highest among the capitals. Now, isn’t that special?
Cody Candee, CEO, and Founder of Bounce said in a statement that “India’s capital New Delhi ranks as the third best capital city for tourists in our study. Rich in history and culture, architecturally beautiful, and an amazing place to shop, it is not surprising that New Delhi ranked in the top three capital cities to visit on vacation.”
Other cities like Luxembourg City were seen to have the most inexpensive transportation. Bangkok has the best temperature and London was picked as the most Instagrammable city in the world with 151 million hashtag mentions. Paris follows London with 120 million hashtag mentions on Instagram.
