Xiaomi is now gearing up to launch the Watch S1 Active. Last month, Xiaomi had certified the Watch S, a new brand for the company. Followed by this, the company is preparing to release a smartwatch under that brand as soon as Q1 2022. Although a specific launch date has not been officially announced yet. The smartwatch is expected to have a rough design. Xiaomi Watch S1 was unveiled at the launch of Xiaomi 12 in China last year. There have been speculations that the smartwatch will arrive in Europe, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore as the Watch S1.

The smartwatch features a metal case with a circular dial paired with silicone straps, two flat buttons on the right side. The Xiaomi Watch S1, on the other hand, features a circular dial with round buttons. The buttons on the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active feature larger buttons, as per 91Mobiles. The Home, Sport, Outdoor, and Active options are engraved on the bezel. Buttons set with Home, Sport, Outdoor and Active options. This news leak suggests the Xiaomi Watch S1 may be offered in three colors, including Black, Blue, and White — with matching bands. The black and blue variants are believed to have matching cases whereas the silver case has white bands.
All information so far points to Xiaomi abandoning its ‘Mi’ branding for future smartwatches. In the meantime, Xiaomi has begun selling the Redmi Watch 2 Lite in Germany. It has also listed the smartwatch in Italy and Spain, where it will retail for €69.99.
