The new BGMI version includes a React Survival mode modeled on the famous Netflix program Squid Game. Krafton has announced a new Christmas-themed event for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The update adds a new ‘React Survival’ mode based on the hit Netflix program Squid Game, as well as reopening six other popular modes, including ‘Metro Royale.’ In React Survival mode, players will don blue, numbered tracksuits and participate in the high-stakes game ‘Red Light, Green Light.’ The contest is won by the player who reaches the finish line without being noticed by the huge rabbit (Easter bunny). As no alternative game variants inspired by Squid Game have been announced, the match will be limited to three rounds. Players may access this mode through the arcade, and they can also establish unique private lobbies to play with friends.

The 1.8 update also brings back specific popular game modes, such as ‘Metro Royale Mode,’ where players have a particular amount of time to gather gear before the contest begins. ‘Survive Till Dawn’ and ‘Virus Infection,’ both themed on zombies, will be returning as well. The ‘Heavy Machine Gun 2.0’ adds helicopters and armored vehicles to the mix. Simultaneously, in the ‘Rune Theme’ mode, you choose one of three rune pieces before the match, granting you unique summoning abilities. With the addition of the new Mythic Winter-themed RPM6, the battle pass system will also alter. The pass will be available from December 20 until January 17, 2022, for 360UC (about Rs 380), allowing players plenty of time to acquire their Christmas-themed gifts and cosmetics. This announcement comes on the heels of PUBG: New State’s newest patch, which was released earlier this month. As part of its Survivor Pass, Vol 2 update included new story objectives, a new weapon, customization choices, and two new vehicles to complement the game’s future atmosphere.
