Recently, Ashley Rebello, Salman Khan’s stylist visited Chandigarh to deliver a talk to the students of a fashion institute. It is to be noted that he is the stylist for the upcoming movies Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, Dabangg 4, Tiger Zinda Hai 3, and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. While addressing the students, he emphasized the importance of students in the world of fashion. Not only that, shedding further light on the role of the youth in fashion, he said that most of them follow the national and international fashion trends on the internet and then buy them online. They don’t shop anymore in offline stores.
As of now, Rebello is designing for Salman Khan for the Bigg Boss 15 reality show. Ashley Rebello’s glorious career spanned 3 decades. His resume has been stacked with designing costumes for numerous Indian and international films, most notable of them being ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Kick’, ‘Bharat’, ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’, Dabangg, and many more. Apart from films, he has also designed costumes for over 100 commercials and ads. The best part is that he is among the first Indian designers to design costumes for Oscar-winning Hollywood stars.
Addressing the gathering also said that Bollywood represented fashion in India. It is quite true too. Since most of the fashion statements are made by Bollywood celebrities and movies, it won’t be wrong to say that. He further added, “I have designed for the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai, stunning Katrina Kaif, the lovely Jaqueline Fernandes, Disha Patani, Sonakshi Sinha, the elegant Tabu among several others, besides Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Imran Khan, and the likes. So, I know this to be a fact.”
