The BJP state unit has arranged an election strategy meeting on Thursday to keep the campaign going. According to reports, the BJP has invited all constituency in-charges to the meeting in Chandigarh via an invitation extended to field leaders. Apart from state president Ashwani Sharma, the meeting would also include the BJP’s election in-charge of Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and the party’s Punjab affairs in-charge of Dushyant Gautam. The note also indicated a conversation on the impending state Assembly elections.
Subhash Sharma, the BJP’s state general secretary, stated that many meetings will be held, and that party office-bearers from all wings would be invited. According to sources, the leaders will also assess the mood of local leaders regarding a pre-election collaboration with Amarinder Singh‘s forthcoming political party.
