Hundreds of followers of political parties forgot to obey the social distancing criteria or wear masks while commemorating the winning of their leaders at counting hubs on Monday. In a large number, followers huddled outside the nine counting centers and most of them were without masks. They were discerned hugging each other with no attention of coronavirus, despite two residents being tested positive for the recent variant Omicron on Sunday. Policemen were deployed but did not worry about educating the crowd. Followers started assembling outside the counting hubs around 9 am, along with dhol players and all were arriving without masks and if they did, it was on their chins.
